Getting started with Schubird

Schubird works on iPhone, iPad, and the web. Your lessons, repertoire, and plans follow your private account across them.

1. Choose where to begin

Download Schubird from the App Store for iPhone or iPad, or open the Schubird web app in a modern desktop browser. Both use the same account and cloud data.

2. Create your account

1. Open Schubird and choose Create new user.
2. Enter the one-time invitation code from your email.
3. Confirm the invited email address, enter your name, and choose a password of at least eight characters.
4. Sign in. Invitation codes are single-use and expire seven days after they are issued.

3. Find your way around

• Lessons turns recordings into notes and keeps your lesson archive.
• Repertoire gives each piece or movement its own history, resources, and assistant.
• Plans organizes a practice session into timed sections.
• Account manages your profile, password, privacy settings, and sign-out.

A good first workflow

1. Add the piece or movement you are studying in Repertoire.
2. Create notes from a recent lesson.
3. Link relevant lesson notes to that repertoire item before saving.
4. Open the piece, discuss what changed, and save your next steps.
5. Create a plan and generate focused practice from that saved context.

If you cannot sign in

Use the email address attached to your invitation. If you have already registered, choose Forgot password? on the sign-in screen. For invitation or account help, visit Support.
